In Hatchit’s pursuit of building cutting-edge solutions, we offer businesses an avenue to integrate technology and generate value in their existing operations, as they are expected to consistently adapt to new changes and trends in the industry.

 

Our client, Surgtech Medical Supplies Inc., has been in the medical industry for years, being well-known for distributing implants and surgical instruments to hospitals and clinics across the Philippines. Despite being in the industry for so long, they were experiencing challenges with tracking the movement of their products from various branches to hospitals. Their reliance on Telegram for communication proved inefficient and a hassle for their employees. And we, at Hatchit, listened to their needs and proposed a system that is streamlined and efficient in managing their inventory and communication.

 

Last June 25, 2024, Hatchit held a demo for Surgtech to introduce their new inventory system and to train their employees on how it works. They gathered their Cebu team and selected employees from Manila to participate in this initial launch. The highlight of this demo is the chat feature, which is Hatchit’s first project to incorporate this type of feature. We developed the chat feature that will automatically create a new chat group for each booked case, adding all tech staff immediately to the chat. This feature will help streamline communication and make such processes more efficient. The employees could relay their suggestions and feedback on certain areas that need further refinement.

With their expertise and team dynamic, they were able to meet and exceed the client’s expectations. However, no project is smooth going, and this team faced challenges that tested their capabilities as individuals and as a unit. They encountered new bugs and blockers they hadn’t experienced in previous projects and had to adjust to working with new teammates. Fortunately, through their hard work, commitment, and strong camaraderie, they developed the best solutions to overcome these challenges and, in doing so, formed a stronger working relationship and synergy among themselves.
