Supporting the Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu SHS Track Team

Author: Jastine Guzman

Last July 5, 2024, Hatchit made a special visit to the Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu SHS Track team. Represented by our CEO Charles, COO Matts and Hatchit Consultancy Group (HCG) Head Kyle, the company generously provided the team with new jerseys and warmers. Along with these gifts, they were asked by the Ateneo Athletics Director, Jon Inot, and the team’s coach, Priscilliano Capampangan, to give an insightful talk, sharing the reasons behind their visit and the company’s support for the team.

This team is personally significant to Hatchit, as some of us are alumni of the school, and a few were part of the team when they were younger. Their love for sports gave them a different outlook on life, shaping their mindset as they grew up. They believe that sports mirror life: the more effort you put into what you do, the more determination you have to keep going, and the more struggles you go through and learn from, the more rewarding and worthwhile your successes can be in life.

As a growing initiative in the company, maintaining our overall health is essential not only for ourselves but also for boosting our performance and productivity at work. That is why our Hatchit Community and Health initiative is intended not only to benefit the company but also to bring a positive impact to the community. These efforts can be seen in our full support for our own HIT Tri Team, Erika and Kyle, who recently competed in marathons, and now, in our recent sponsorship of the Ateneo SHS Track Team.

This recent venture is just one of many community-centered initiatives that the company is pursuing. The Hatchit leadership encourages the rest of the company through this African proverb: “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” This perfectly encapsulates what we, at Hatchit, envision—for the company to go further in this industry by working together to provide the best and most sustainable solutions.

We hope that our small tokens of support will give the team that extra drive and motivation they need in their future competitions. We also want to give our heartfelt thanks to Sir Jon and Coach Capampangan for giving us this opportunity to support the track team. The #Hatchitteam wishes them all the best of luck in their next endeavors.
